Registration for remote participation in the Integration 2026 event and application for in-person attendance at the event ended on Monday 14 September 2026. The event organisation has now reviewed the applications for in-person attendance. Information on the applicant’s right to participate in different parts of the in-person event or their position on the waiting list has been sent to them by email.

The in-person event will be held in Vantaa on 28–29 October 2026. Due to the limited capacity of the facilities and event safety, a total of 800 participants can be admitted to the event, including speakers and organisers. More than 1,000 applications were submitted for in-person attendance at the event, which unfortunately meant that we have been unable to give a place to all those who wanted to take part in person. Some may have been granted the right to participate in person for only one day in order to guarantee that as many people as possible have the opportunity to attend.

When selecting participants, an effort has been made to ensure that the event brings together as diverse a range as possible of professionals in the promotion of integration and the reception of refugees from different parts of Finland as well as representatives of different organisations. People will not be able to attend the in-person event without the right to participate granted by the event organisation.

If you have applied for a spot at the in-person event and have not received information on your right to participate or your place on the waiting list, first check your spam box and, if necessary, contact the event organisation at [email protected].

Please cancel your participation if you cannot attend

If you were granted a spot at the in-person event but are unable to participate, please cancel your participation as soon as possible. The link to the cancellation form can be found in the email informing you that you have been selected as an in-person participant.

Prompt cancellation notifications will allow us to offer these spots to applicants on the waiting list. Each participation spot is personal, which means that it cannot be given to another person in your organisation. Instead, the organisers will give the cancelled spot to the next person on the waiting list.

The event’s programme can be followed online

Integration 2026 brings together professionals in integration and refugee reception from different parts of Finland. Remote participants will be able to view the programme in the three main halls in the form of a live webcast and participate in the discussion in the feed’s chat. All those who are still on the waiting list or have only registered for the remote event will be sent instructions before the event on how to view it and take part remotely.

The event’s programme will be held in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
