Employment review examines changes in number of unemployed jobseekers and their participation in services

The  Development and Administrative Services Centre (KEHA Centre) publishes a review on the employment of foreign citizens and their participation in services. The review is updated monthly following the publication of the actual Employment Bulletin by the KEHA Centre. The publication dates are available at Job Market Finland

The review provides information on the trend of unemployment among foreign citizens and their participation in services nationally and in each ELY Centre area. The monitoring is carried out with the Power BI application and it offers key figures on the number of unemployed foreign jobseekers and changes to it, as well as on the activation rate and participation in the services included in it. The data can be filtered by age and nationality of the jobseeker and the ELY Centre area, for example.

Monitoring of employment among foreign citizens and participation in services is largely based on the register data of the Employment Service Statistics of the KEHA Centre.

The responsibility for publishing the Employment Bulletin was transferred from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment to the KEHA Centre in April 2025.
