Multilingual materials support integration

Multilingual materials related to Finnish society and government services support the integration of immigrants. You can use these materials in Customer Service and guidance.

The InfoFinland.fi website managed by the City of Helsinki and the Welcome to Finland guide produced by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment in cooperation with InfoFinland.fi are comprehensive multilingual information packages. InfoFinland.fi provides support for Customer Service, and the Welcome to Finland guide is given to everyone moving to Finland. Both are produced in 12 languages.

The number of multilingual sources of information has grown in recent years. There is also overlap in the materials, which is why we have compiled a list of materials and provided instructions on how to produce multilingual information.

The multilingual materials have been compiled into a PDF file and broken down by theme. The materials include videos, online services and brochures.

The materials have been compiled by the At Home - in Finland project managed by the Uusimaa Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment. Please send comments and additions to the list to kotoutumisentukena.fi, [email protected] and to [email protected].
