The guidelines contain basic information on the duties of persons representing unaccompanied children during their reception and integration in Finland.
The guidelines are primarily intended for representatives of unaccompanied children in Finland to support them in their duties. They can also be used by authorities.

Guidelines on the representation of unaccompanied children in Finland will replace the following documents:

The guidelines were prepared in cooperation by the Finnish Immigration Service and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment/KEHA Centre in autumn 2024.
