The authority responsible for drawing up the integration plan (municipality and/or TE Office/municipality in the pilot area) shall monitor the implementation of the integration plan in accordance with the Immigration Act (Act on the Promotion of Immigrant Integration, section 18).
The drawing up of the integration plan is an evolving process and the plan must be updated as necessary to correspond to the conditions or goals that have changed.
The municipality shall review the integration plan in accordance with the service needs of
the immigrant or at least once a year.
The TE Office/municipality in a pilot area must review the integration plan in the jobseeker’s interview or if requested by the jobseeker, unless reviewing it is obviously unnecessary (Act on Public Employment and Business Service, chapter 2, section 6) The plan may also be reviewed if specifically so requested by the parties.
