Communications, in particular those on social media, aimed at integration professionals and others involved in the sector will be centralised at the turn of the year. In future, you can follow official communications on integration at kotoutuminen.fi, KEHA Centre’s Tuutti service and on Instagram and LinkedIn.

The Kotoutumisesta account on Instagram will be maintained as before. The LinkedIn account of the Centre of Expertise in Immigrant Integration will also be transferred under the Kotoutumisesta heading on 31 December 2024. The Kotoutumisesta accounts will be used to provide communications from the KEHA Centre, the Partnership programme, the Action plan for referral of refugees to municipalities and the integration services online (kotoutuminen.fi, kotoutumisentukena.fi and yhteiskuntaorientaatio.fi). Currently, the accounts are maintained by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment and the ELY Centre for Uusimaa. They will be joined by the KEHA Centre as an administrator on 1 January 2025.

At the same time, the X accounts of the Centre of Expertise in Immigrant Integration and the Partnership programme of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment will be discontinued. We would like to thank our followers on X and its predecessor Twitter and ask that they now follow the Kotoutumisesta accounts on Instagram and LinkedIn.

The decision to centralise communications and reduce the number of communication channels is based on the aim to produce more up-to-date and high-quality communications for professionals involved in integration and refugee reception and to make it easier to follow the channels. The work to develop professional communications will continue during 2025.

In addition to social media, official communications can be followed as before at Kotoutuminen.fi and the new Tuutti service of the KEHA Centre, which is intended for experts involved in employment services and integration.
