Apply to join the planning groups of the Integration 2024 event
The planning of the Integration 2024 event is about to start. First, the application for the planning groups of the event will be opened. The Integration 2024 has a new programme structure and planning teams or area coordinators for special theme areas are not looked for this time, but the event has enough tasks for many people. The event will take place in Turku, Logomo on 14–15 November 2024.
This survey is used to map out the interest in and opportunities for working in the Integration 2024 planning teams in particular, based on a preliminary event structure approved by the event’s coordination team. The Integration 2024 has a new programme structure and planning teams or area coordinators for special theme areas are not looked for this time. The different planning teams may be assigned new tasks as the event approaches. Participants and working group leaders can already be selected during the application process, so it is worth applying early.
If necessary, the number of participants involved in planning the event can be restricted to ensure that the planning remains agile and the groups are diverse. If the number of potential group members is higher than necessary, we aim to give priority to first-time applicants. Participants contribute to the planning and implementation as a part of their official/work duties, and no separate compensation/remuneration is paid for this work. The participants agree with their employer on the use of their working hours for this purpose.
The Open call for program content will start later in 2023
The teams work together with many operators to plan the programme for the whole event, including a so-called stand market, communication and other parts of the event. A separate open call for applications for the content of the event programme will be launched in autumn 2023. In this later call, you can propose programme content and speakers for the event. The call for applications for display stands in the the exhibition space will be launched in 2024. The event's website will be opened at the beginning of 2024 at the latest.

The Integration 2024 event is organized by the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment of Southwest Finland in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. The event is also financed by the city of Turku, The wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland and Bildningsallianssen rf. The event is part of the Integration Partnership Programme. The event is co-funded by the European Union.
