Registration for Integration 2022 begins – Remember to sign up for the largest integration event of the year!

Registration for the Integration 2022 event is now open. The event will take place in Tampere Hall in Tampere from 7 to 8 November. The theme of this year’s event is change and the changing operating environment. Register for the event by 17th of October 2022.

Integration 2022 is a national event that brings together actors involved in integration and reception of refugees. The event aims to share information on current topics in the sector, the latest research data and best practices. The event offers an opportunity to establish partnerships and create networks for cooperation.

The Integration 2022 event will take place on Monday 7 November and Tuesday 8 November. An additional event for a limited number of participants will be held on Monday evening. Registration for the evening event will be begin at the same time as the general registration and the seats will be allocated in the order of registration. There is a separate registration form for the evening event. 

Principles of safer space apply to the event

The broad-based theme of this year’s event is change and the changing operating environment. The Integration programme will be divided into different tracks that focus on employment, education, receptiveness of society, health and wellbeing, and integration for all ages. The programme will be held in Finnish, Swedish and English. 

The Integration 2022 event will implement the principles of safe space and will not tolerate any form of discrimination. All those who register for the event commit themselves to following the principles of safe space that have been prepared for the event. The principles of safe space will be published on the event website no later than the beginning of September. All participants should familiarise themselves with the principles before the event.

The Integration 2022 event is organised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment in cooperation with the ELY Centres of Uusimaa and Pirkanmaa and the City of Tampere. The City of Helsinki, City of Espoo and the Red Cross are also involved in the event implementation. The event is part of the Integration Partnership Programme. The Centre of Expertise in Immigrant Integration coordinates the preparations for the event at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment.
