Projektet Finland – mitt hem utvecklade de tjänster och processer som främjar invandrarnas integration. Projektet bestod av två delar som stödde varandra: En bra start och En bra stig.

Detta tillgänglighetsutlåtande gäller webbplatsen www.kotouttaminen.fi/www.integration.fi och de tillhörande sociala medierna Twitter, Instagram, YouTube och SlideShare.

På den här sidan presenteras god praxis som har valts ut bland den goda praxis som kompetenscentret för integration samlat ihop i april 2016. Den goda praxisen har utvärderats av en separat tillsatt jury.

Integrationsdatabasen är en öppen, registerbaserad databas över statistiska data, ur vilken det går att få omfattande information om invandrarbefolkningen i Finland. Statistikcentralen ansvarar för underhållet av Integrationsdatabasen.

Ibland har myndigheten och klienten inte något gemensamt språk eller så är det nödvändigt för klientens rättsskydd att vederbörande kan använda sitt eget modersmål. Då agerar tolken som ett stöd för myndigheten och klienten.

Enligt förvaltningslagen ska myndigheten ordna tolkning eller översättning, om invandraren (eller annan part) inte behärskar det språk, finska eller svenska, som används hos myndigheten eller om han eller hon på grund av handikapp eller sjukdom inte kan bli förstådd i ett ärende som kan inledas på myndighetens initiativ.
