Planning of Integration 2026 event is progressing well

The Integration 2026 event will be held in Vantaa this autumn, and its programme planning group has been working hard throughout the spring. The event’s programme planning is based on a previous open call for programme ideas and on the programme planning workshop held in December. The Integration 2026 event organisation would like to thank all who have already participated in the programme planning process.

In the call for programme ideas, well-being and health was the most popular topic. Many programme ideas were also proposed for employment and for work-based and education-based immigration. There were also plenty of proposals related to the reception of refugees and the integration of children, young people and families.

In the coming weeks, the programme planning group will review all the proposals to create a proposal for the event’s programme. During this process, proposals may be modified and similarly themed proposals may be combined in order to make a clear, functional, and coherent programme. The final programme proposals will be given to the event’s leadership team for discussion and approval.

During the spring and summer, the Integration 2026 event organisation will contact the people who are invited to participate in the event’s programme. As planning progresses during the spring, additional emails will also be sent to all who have made proposals for the programme.

Some parts of the event’s programme will be published in early autumn as registration for the event opens.

Application period for exhibitors begins soon

Would you or your organisation like to share good practices, or would you perhaps like to tell others in your field about your work to promote integration? Your organisation can soon apply to become an exhibitor!

A small number of applicants will be selected as exhibitors in the event’s exhibition space at Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport. Exhibitors can showcase their organisation’s work and meet potential new partners.

Exhibitors are especially encouraged to create interactive exhibits where visitors can become familiar with practical operating models and practices. Another priority for the event is to include local actors and especially organisations that have not participated in previous Integration events.

The exhibitor application opens on Monday, April 20, 2026, on the Integration event website: www.integration2026.fi.
